I feel so OBAMA-NIZED... today was truly a day above any words. I shared this day with my kids. Although we couldnt be in DC, we watched everything from the arrival of the VIPs, to the swearing in of Pres Obama, to the inaugural luncheon, to the parade, to ETTA JAMES "At Last" like he said thats "OLD SCHOOL" they are beautiful....
I couldn't be in DC, but I had front row seats as you can see in front of my TV...
"I, Barack Hussein Obama do solemly swear...."
Sharing this day with Tyren and Jai'Lynn (her hair wasn't combed yet, hey we had front row seats at the house... lol) As you can see the tears were flowing as I was overcome with joy. I knew it would happen. It's official I have witnessed history and so proud.
Telling the kids, how many doors this is going to open for them. The opportunities they will have, if they take advantage of them. No one can ever tell them they can't be or do anything... Obama showed that if you believe then you can achieve.
Thanking GOD for the blessings he has blessed upon this day.... Giving thanks to those who are here to witnessed what they fought so hard for...
This is truly one of the best days ever....
